Trev Murphy, artist and comedy fan. Hope you enjoy my drawings and trivia of those funny folks called 'Comedians'!
('Did you know...' posts by me. In the spirit of Harris Wittels 'Foam Corner' from the excellent Comedy Bang Bang podcast that inspired this page)
Comedian, actor, singer and podcaster extraordinaire Paul F. Tompkins!
Tompkins frequently performs live in Los Angeles at Largo, Comedy Death-Ray, Thrilling Adventure Hour and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In 2009 he was brought to Toronto after a Facebook group found 300 Torontonians who vowed to attend if he did. This spurred like-minded fans in Halifax, Dallas, and Memphis amongst others to launch successful campaigns to lure Tompkins there. (wiki)
Comedian Andy Daly does many different characters in his stand-up - all hilarious! A regular guest on the excellent Comedy Bang Bang podcast Andy has a comedy album called ‘Nine Sweaters’, a comedy album compiled from a nine-week residency at Comedy Bang Bang’s Tuesday night shows, on AST Records.

Jim Gaffigan
“In ‘Pale Force’ Conan (O’Brien, not the barbarian, you wiseacre) is much sexier because he’s in that pink underwear. He’s very similar to how he is in real life, but the red-haired guys, that’s a tough road for the sexiness, you know what I mean? Being a pale guy who’s out of shape and bald, and has an oversized head, I have a natural advantage. Conan’s got a big head, too. The big head is always an advantage, I think.”

Ben Stiller
In a 1999 interview with GQ and later in a 2001 interview with Hollywood.com, Stiller stated that he has bipolar disorder, an illness he said that ran in his family. In interviews in November and December 2006, Stiller claimed that this earlier interview’s comment about the disorder was false. In one interview he clarified, “I said jokingly in GQ that I was, like, crazy, and it came out as: Ben Stiller, bipolar manic-depressive!”
